Drilling, Completion and Cementing Fluids Laboratory (DCCFL)
A first-of-its-kind laboratory in Mexico that offers comprehensive, integrated technological solutions related to drilling fluids and cementing for the optimal construction of wells in onshore and offshore oil fields.

It has high-precision equipment for studying physical and chemical phenomena that occur during well construction under extreme pressure (up to 40,000 psi) and temperature (-40 to 300°C) conditions.
TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS:
-
Reengineering and development of control fluids.
-
Research and development of materials for low-dose additives and drilling, completion and cementing fluid systems.
-
Rheological optimisation, physicochemical and thermal stability of control fluids and cements.
-
Characterisation of formation damage caused by drilling fluids.
-
3D tomography studies of microstructural changes in formation samples due to rock-fluid interaction.
-
Quality control and special studies of control fluid systems during the VCDSE process in wells.
-
Determination of crystallisation points in simple and complex completion brines under high pressure and low temperature conditions.
