Hydrocarbon Production and Corrosion Control

We contribute to solving hydrocarbon production and corrosion problems in oil industry facilities, with more than four decades of service backing our experience.

All tests performed comply with the Institutional Quality Management System policies, which in turn comply with Standard NMX-17025 –IMNC-2006 ‘General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’.

 

The Laboratory, in its Well Production and Productivity Section, helps to establish the level of incidence (current or future) of flow assurance problems in reservoir-well-surface production systems due to organic (asphaltenes and paraffins) and inorganic deposition problems.

 

During the evaluation of wells in the production decline stage, the laboratory provides support to restore and/or increase their productivity by evaluating rock samples, formation fluids, organic and inorganic deposits, and systems used in well stimulation treatments and return fluids.

In the Corrosion Section, the Laboratory supports the control of internal or external corrosion of overhead, submerged or buried steel structures used in the production or transport of hydrocarbons.
