Flow Assurance Laboratory (FAL)
They offer technological solutions that enable the establishment of design, operation and production strategies to ensure flow and improve the transport of hydrocarbons, preventing or mitigating the formation of organic and inorganic solid deposits in reservoirs, wells and facilities.
First of its kind in Latin America and among the top five worldwide with capabilities to characterise the thermodynamic, physicochemical and transport properties of hydrocarbons under dynamic and static conditions.
TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS:

Comprehensive flow assurance studies to reduce risks and operating costs, such as: water and gas control in mature fields, unstable flow, corrosion, erosion, solids entrainment, and problems caused by emulsion formation, among others.

Production optimisation through studies to assess damage to formations, production and/or transport pipelines due to precipitation and/or incrustation of organic and inorganic solid compounds.
