IMP Present at ONEXPO 2025
On the second day of activities at ONEXPO Nacional 2025, the Mexican Petroleum Institute (IMP) reaffirmed its strategic role in the transformation of Mexico’s energy sector. During its participation, the Director General emphasized the Institute’s commitment to the energy transition, research, technological development, and talent training as key pillars to address current challenges.
She also underscored the importance of the fuel retail sector as the final link in the hydrocarbons value chain, reiterating IMP’s willingness to strengthen its services, technologies, and solutions aimed at safer, more efficient, and sustainable service stations. She further highlighted that collaboration with companies, academia, and research centers enables the integration of cutting-edge innovation with responsible practices.
At the close of the day, she recognized the sector’s leadership, its commitment to continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and the incorporation of clean energy solutions—such as solar panels—as well as its key role as the industry’s direct interface with society. With this message, IMP reinforced its commitment to working hand in hand with sector stakeholders to advance a more modern, competitive, and sustainable industry.
