IMP drives energy innovation at InnovaFest LATAM 2025
During this major science, technology, and innovation event, patented technologies developed by specialists were showcased—solutions that are already generating value for the energy industry by strengthening safety, optimizing operational efficiency, and advancing sector sustainability.
InnovaFest LATAM 2025 brought together leaders in science, technology, and investment from 39 countries with the aim of advancing Mexican projects and strengthening regional competitiveness. In this international setting, the Instituto Mexicano del Petróleo presented technological developments with Mexican intellectual property, designed to generate direct value for the energy industry.
Among the featured solutions were technologies to optimize production in mature fields, detect leaks in real time, improve crude oil quality, and reduce operational risks—delivering greater efficiency, safety, and profitability to operations.
In addition, its participation in the Ministerial Meeting of Latin America and the Caribbean positioned these developments as strategic proposals to enhance regional energy competitiveness. Through this engagement, the Institute reinforces its role as a key technological partner driving innovation, productivity, and sustainability in the energy sector.
