Environmental Analyses

The laboratory is designed based on customer requirements. We provide research and technological services to support the industry in its efforts to improve and protect the environment.

With national and international quality standards, this laboratory provides high-level technological services with physicochemical, chemical, microbiological, ecological, and ecotoxicological studies for the environmental market. It develops new analytical methodologies and conducts research on water, soil, and air analysis and their impact on the environment. It has specialised infrastructure, equipment and human resources and complies with Mexican Standard NMX-EC-17025. It is accredited for water sampling.

Laboratory capabilities

  • Physical agent monitoring equipment.

  • Microtox equipment.

  • Chromatographs with sulphur detector, mass spectrometers, conductivity detector, infrared spectrometers with thermogravimetric coupling (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).

  • FTIR equipment with reaction chambers, gas cell, special cell.

  • Inductively coupled plasma. With mass spectrometer for trace element determination (ICP), microwave oven for sample digestion, thermal optical carbon analyser (TOR), AX-66 microbalance, HPLC ion chromatograph.

  • Liquid chromatograph. Ultra-high performance mod ACQUITY UPLC-IClass coupled to Mass.

  • Water generation system. Milli RX and Milli Q consisting of the Milli-Q® HX 7040 (LC) 120V 60 Hz (ZLXL61040) module and the Milli-Q® IQ 7000 (ZIQ7000T0) module.

  • Accelerated solvent extraction.

  • Gas chromatography with FID detectors.
