Organic Geochemistry

The only national laboratory of its kind, with more than 40 years of experience offering petroleum services, including analytical testing for the geochemical characterisation of rock and fluid samples. These analyses are essential for defining petroleum systems and controlling reservoirs.

We apply new techniques and methodologies for the analysis and study of different specialities of organic geochemistry, such as biomarkers, reservoir geochemistry, geochemical modelling, isotopy, pyrolysis and activation energies in total samples, among others.

We have accredited tests under the NMX-EC-17025-IMNC2006/ISO17025:2005 standard. For fourteen consecutive years, the laboratory has obtained zero findings in the accreditation evaluations of the tests at its facilities in the state of Hidalgo, and this is the eighth consecutive year with zero findings in the accreditation evaluations at its headquarters.
