The only laboratory in the country with the infrastructure, equipment, and highly specialised human resources, enabling the provision of experimental and standardised tests primarily aimed at the downstream value chain in the areas of petroleum refining, gas, and petrochemicals.

Specialised in the evaluation of catalytic materials, additives, process studies, optimisation of operational variables, technology scale-up, and crude oil fractionation, which provides experimental information that plays a key role in supporting research, technological development, technical services for research programmes, PEMEX, and third parties.
We have a broad portfolio of national and international clients, including notable projects with SENER-CONACYT, PEMEX, higher education institutions, and private industries. Internationally, we have collaborated with Petroperú, Intercat, KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root), Toyo, and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), among others.
