At GSSIL, we accurately characterise soil behaviour, providing reliable data that optimises design and geotechnical assessment.
Experimental equipment is available to measure the mechanical properties of soil in static form. Triaxial chambers and direct shear equipment to measure soil shear strength. Odometers and permeameters (variable and constant load) to determine compressibility and permeability parameters, respectively.
Furthermore, the LGISE has all the conventional equipment needed to measure the index properties of soil samples.
