IMP and UNAI sign collaboration Agreement to advance strategic projects in energy, energy transition, and technological development
El IMP y la UNAI establecieron una alianza estratégica para impulsar la innovación, el desarrollo tecnológico y la formación de talento, fortaleciendo la colaboración en temas clave para el futuro energético de México.
The Mexican Petroleum Institute (IMP) and the Unidad Nacional de Asociaciones de Ingenieros (UNAI) formalized a General Collaboration Agreement with the objective of promoting joint initiatives and projects focused on technological development, innovation, and sustainability in the energy sector.
The alliance includes collaboration in strategic areas such as energy transition, industrial process decarbonization, clean energy, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen, circular economy, environmental management, specialized training, and technology transfer. It will also promote research activities, talent development, and stronger connections among the academic, scientific, and productive sectors.
During the signing ceremony, representatives of both institutions highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation to address current challenges in the energy sector and capitalize on emerging development opportunities. They agreed that combining their capabilities, experience, and expertise will enable the creation of innovative solutions with a positive impact on competitiveness, sustainability, and the country’s technological development.
Through this agreement, IMP and UNAI reaffirm their commitment to advancing strategic projects that contribute to the transformation of Mexico’s energy sector and to building a more sustainable and competitive future.
